I was thinking of going to the IMAX to see it as well... and of all places in Dallas . I didn't though... I went to the Movie Tavern and ate food while I watched. The movie was great... it is the best Batman movie to date and I hope they make more. Did seeing it at the IMAX add much to it?

This was the first time I've been to the IMAX and no, I don't think it added much. We agreed to just go see everything on the digital screen at the Cinemark Legacy from now on. The graphics are just as sharp and the ticket is almost half the price.

they have already ok'ed a 2nd one... But if Christopher Nolan and Christian Baile do not do it i dont think it will hold much water to this one.. Nolons vision of Batman is just to good to not have him do the 2nd one also.

and they need to keep the villans in normal chareter and not all painted faces and things like Tim Burton did. this will keep the story line freash and more modern realiziam to it.

*Spoiler* for the Joker in part 2 i hope they cast someone like Clive Owen or Mickey Rorke.

The only complaint I had was, in this one, Batman lacked the traditional DC Comics super-chin.

what i liked about it most is that it was stripped down from its Comic appeal and turned it into a story that will move you to the point you dont care if its batman or not but just a man on a mission for justice..

take away the bat suit and you still got a wonderfull movie

I liked it. A lot.

IMO it's the way Batman was meant to be. Not all cartoony and crap. Dark and gothic.

I mean cmon, the city is called Gotham City, it's supposed to be dark and scary. Not all cartoony.

Only two villains that should be cartoony si the Joker and the Penguin.

And they still didn't catch Scarecrow.

Just foiled him because Batman is a meddling kid.

Best Batman movie I've seen to date...I will go as far as to say it's in the top 3 best made films of 2005-06 so far...As long as they don't bring in "Robin" and CatWoman, it will continue to be a great storyline with Nolan and Bale.

Agreed! Christian Bale rocks hardcore

I loved Batman Begins, I thought it was the best Batman movie and definately the best movie out so far this year. Plus Cillian Murphy was perfect as Dr. Crane. Ah hell, everyone was perfect, except Katie Holmes...I can't stand her 'acting'. She was the films one downfall.

It was awesome to see the huge list of great actors in one film together though.

The movie was awesome, better than I had expected. They portrayed Batman perfectly, much better than the older movies.

I think I'll agree with you on that too, about Katie and all. When I heard she was cast in the movie I was like, "meh.." I'm sure the brilliantness that is Christian will make up for it though. Hopefully I'll be able to see it soon!
